The ZERO Press commenced broadcasting its own
television programs in 1981 in Philadelphia with University
Square TV-8 (USTV-8). USTV-8 was a closed-circuit broadcasting station located within a
public residence (University Square) of 500 apartments for the
elderly and disabled. In 1982, the ZERO Press founded Teletalia Cable Network (TCN). TCN presented weekly programs from the Italian national television
network (RAI) on cable outlets throughout the Delaware
Valley.
In Philadelphia in 1983, AMERICAN COMMUNITY BROADCASTING (ACB) was
launched by the ZERO Press. ACB was the precursor to WORLD COMMUNITY BROADCASTING (WCB), which the ZERO Press now operates from London.
